Dear family and friends:
We are so grateful for all of you for the support you have given to us here at Renaissance Senior Homes over the last few months. It has been both a challenging time but also a time of blessing as we worked together to keep our residents safe from COVID-19. We are proud to say that not one of our facilities has had any staff or residents contract the virus. It is because of you and our wonderful staff that have been diligent and thoughtful even though we know it was difficult, as you missed being with your loved ones who live in our homes. We are writing this letter to provide an update on our status of re-opening.
OUTDOOR VISITATION PLAN: The PA Department of Health and Department of Human Services are working with each community to develop a safe plan for phases of re-opening and for scheduled outdoor visits. These visits will be arranged and monitored, and will require masking of resident and visitors and ample distancing. Visits may be cancelled or postponed at any time per guidelines. If you want to know more details, here is the website:
So just as a reminder, we still cannot receive any visitors inside our community and our residents must stay in place. Our staff is still using the same precautions that we have all along. If for any reason a resident must leave the building such as a physician's appointment or emergency room visit, they must remain in quarantine for 14 days and have no contact with other residents. These procedures have kept us safe so far and we will continue to follow the same guidelines and any other recommendations given to us by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
We want to thank each and every one of you again for your support during this pandemic. Please feel free to contact the Administrator of the home if you have any concerns or questions.
WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOU CAN BEGIN SCHEDULING OUTDOOR VISITS.
